I’m — Samson a Christian, a thinker, and a cybersecurity professional who believes that faith and reason were never meant to be enemies.

My Story

From an early age, I have been drawn to questions about God, Scripture, and the unseen world. That curiosity has walked with me through seasons of loss, transition, and growth. Over time, my interest in theology and the Bible has grown alongside a deep love for science and technology.
I’ve spent years reading, studying, and wrestling with questions that don’t always have easy answers. I’ve also come to see how the Lord has been faithful through it all, even when my understanding was limited or my emotions were overwhelmed.

My Faith

I am a follower of Jesus Christ. My faith is not built on pretending that hard questions don’t exist, but on bringing those questions before God in honesty. I believe that Scripture is a gift, that the Holy Spirit still works, and that the Christian life is a journey of learning to trust God more deeply, not a test that we pass by having all the right answers.

I value both conviction and humility: holding to what I believe, while recognizing that I am still learning and growing.

My Work in Cybersecurity

Professionally, I work in technical support and cybersecurity-related contexts, helping people and organizations navigate complex systems, incidents, and threats. I see this work as a kind of stewardship—protecting what has been entrusted to us and caring for people in a world where so much of life now happens online.
The same instincts that drive me to trace a network issue or security risk also show up in how I approach faith: I care about what is true, what is reliable, and what leads to life.

My Education

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Management Information Systems from Dallas Baptist University, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity (Network Defense) from Capella University.

My studies don’t make me an expert in all things, but they have given me the tools and language to explore the questions and convictions God has been shaping in me for many years.
