I’m Samson

This space is shaped by a commitment to follow Jesus, to keep learning, and to take technology seriously as part of everyday life. It reflects a journey through faith, questioning, and practice — where Scripture, history, reason, and lived experience are not in competition, but in conversation.

What’s offered here is not certainty, but reflection — shared with humility, honesty, and a desire to grow in both grace and knowledge.

Journey

From an early age, I’ve been drawn to questions about God, Scripture, and the unseen world. That curiosity has walked with me through seasons of loss, transition, and growth. Over time, my interest in theology and the Bible has grown alongside a deep love for science and technology.

I’ve spent years reading, studying, and wrestling with questions that don’t always have easy answers. I try to be honest about what the biblical texts really say in their historical context, even if it’s uncomfortable. I also try to be clear when theology goes beyond the text, instead of pretending the text claims more than it actually does.

I’ve also seen how faithfully the Lord meets us in those spaces — even when understanding is limited, or emotions feel overwhelming.

Faith

As a follower of Jesus Christ, my faith is not built on pretending hard questions don’t exist, but on bringing them honestly before God.

I believe Scripture is a gift, that the Holy Spirit still works, and that the Christian life is a journey of learning to trust God more deeply over time.

I value both conviction and humility: holding to what I believe while recognizing that I am still learning and growing.

Work & Vocation

Professionally, I work in telecommunications and cybersecurity, helping people and organizations navigate complex systems, incidents, and threats. I see this work as a kind of stewardship — protecting what has been entrusted to us and caring for people in a world increasingly shaped by digital life.

The same instincts that drive me to trace a network issue or analyze security risks inform how I approach faith: I care about what is true, reliable, and life-giving.

Academics

My academic path has moved through biblical studies, information systems, and cybersecurity, shaped by study at Dallas Baptist University and Capella University.

These years of learning didn’t resolve every question, but they gave language and structure to questions I had been carrying long before I knew how to name them.
